建築空間の中で、光部分は、知的構成の

場であり、影部分即ち壁面は、それを受け

止める母なる愛の部分でもある。作品をとお

して、変化に富んだ美しい日本の光(風のさ

さやき雲の動き、そして花の香りをも含んだ

この光)を内部に導入し、そして、その光が

床に反射し、もう一度沸き立ち発酵して光の

中で、人々を大きく抱きかかえる様な空間を

創り出したかった。真理を求める若人の聖

堂、祈りの場こそこの空間である。

私は道であり、真理であり、命である。

Truth

Within the architectural space， the

portion of light can be said to be an

intellectual construction， which the

dark shadowy portion，or wall，could

be said to be motherly love which

supports and embraces the light，I have

been wanting to produce such a space

in which the subtle and changeable

Japanese sun light， affected by the

rustling wind and floating clouds and

the scent of flowers，comes from

outside，penetrating the glass and then

reflecting against the floor and rising

and boiling in a ferment，forming itself

in an embracing space within the

architecture. The space thus formed，is

a cathedral， fitted for those young

students who sincerely and earnestly

seek for the truth.
